What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment information (card number, billing address) is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store it. We also collect basic usage analytics through Vercel Analytics: which pages you visit, how long, what referrer brought you here. That's it.

What we don't collect

We do not collect your trades. We do not connect to your brokerage, exchange, or wallet. We do not ask for your portfolio, your positions, or your P&L. OddsFirst is a read-only market lens — nothing you see on the site requires us to know anything about your personal positions.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. oddsfirst_ref stores a referral code if you arrived from an affiliate link. UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) are stored briefly for attribution. A session cookie keeps you logged in. No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels.

Third parties we share data with

Stripe processes payments and stores billing details. Supabase hosts our user database (email + plan status). Vercel hosts the site and provides anonymized analytics. If you subscribe to our Substack newsletter, Substack receives your email. We don't share data with anyone else — no ad networks, no data brokers, no resellers.

Data retention

Account data (email, plan status, preferences) is retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained for 13 months and then automatically purged. Stripe retains payment records per their own policy and applicable financial regulations.

Your rights

You can request a full export of your data, or full deletion of your account, at any time. Use /contact. We respond within 7 days, usually much faster.
